"The staff were wonderful, very helpful"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / General medicine (Wards 5d)

(as the patient),

Would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the Queen Elizabeth hospital,

I was admitted to the receiving ward towards the end of November with a suspected heart attack. The staff worked so hard and found it was not a heart attack but a blood infection.

In the two days I was in the receiving ward the staff were wonderful very helpful and explained every process as they investigated what was wrong with me,

After being moved to ward 5D where I stayed for a further 6 days again the nurses were so caring also the staff bringing me my breakfast/ lunch and dinner which I found the food to be of a good standard,

My room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding if required.

Can you please pass on my thanks to your staff.

Regards
