"My husband's care"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Stroke Services

(as a relative),

My husband had a stroke at home in Tiverton and was taken to Wonford Hospital in double quick time. The Stroke Unit staff at RD&E are amazing. My husband's care, initially in Clyst and then in Yealm Wards was second to none. I am especially thankful to the Team in Yealm, who were just so kind and thoughtful. His treatment was such that he has been allowed home after two weeks with a great care plan in place, We were involved in this all the way. This will help us both cope with our new life. God bless them all.
