"Restricted access to telephone."

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a service user),

In ward-round today, I was told that I would be limited to just six phone calls a day. Two in the morning, two in the afternoon and two in the evening.

I was told this was done because I have done some concerning behaviour more often than usual and the MDT felt that phone calls were -stressing me out.

I disagree with this and feel that this is a restrictive measure, especially as it is coming up to Christmas and I want to be able to speak with all my friends and family.

Thank you for taking the time to raise your experience on Care Opinion, and thank you for spending the time in person providing more detail about your experience.

We discussed a number of processes which could be digitised, for example to enable you to transfer telephone credits and to have digital access to your patient monies balance. These will be raised on your behalf on the next digital platform involvement meeting.
