I attended with my frail elderly father on a very busy Friday evening. The waiting room was packed not just with patients but relatives! Some had 7 or 8 people with one patient! Surely minimizing carers/relatives to one would mean the elderly actually get a seat! My father sat on the floor for two hours, unacceptable and unnecessary. Restricting people who come with a patient to one would free up lots of space. Also it seems the noisier and more violent you are the quicker you get seen. Most patients didn’t even need a and e.
