I felt abandoned and treated appallingly on ward 16. Staff shouted and argued with another patient in a room on corridor. Stand up rows witnessed.
Nasty, unpleasant atmosphere if you ask for anything. Certain members of staff stood around and chatted with their favourites. Told off for crying in the night.
The ward was filthy - floor had food trodden in, tops were dirty and unclean. Had to wipe down myself.
No help going to toilet - said they were too busy.
No asthma medication arrived after 7 days and we all had to share our inhalers on the ward. Requests to the pharmacy ignored.
The whole experience was frightening and deeply traumatic.
Jobey and Rafa were the most amazingly kind and compassionate nurses. They cared and listened. But some of the ward staff in ward 16 were so unkind and nasty about the patients.
"Some of the staff were so unkind"
