"My birthing experience"

I gave birth in Inverclyde Royal hospital, I was skeptical at first as I gave birth to my other two children in paisley RAH hospital.

I can only say that I had the most beautiful birthing experience in Inverclyde. Both midwives Karen and Hayley were so professional and made my birthing experience so relaxing and personal for both me and my husband . They put on ambient lighting in the room and allowed me the most natural birth with minimal interaction it felt like they weren’t there . Karen was so encouraging when I felt like giving up and i ended up giving birth without any pain relief . 

The water birth was so beautiful and an experience I will never ever forget . After I had my little girl Karen and Hayley gave me and my husband time on our own to bond with our daughter and were so discreet about the medical side of things. 

These midwives are a credit to the NHS and their hard work didn’t go unnoticed .

I was fortunate to have Karen as my assigned midwife throughout my pregnancy and she was so helpful and friendly throughout . Karen also done some of my home visit’s postpartum and again she was so friendly and helpful .

My little girl is my last baby and I feel so grateful that I had the birthing experience I did . And it’s all thanks to Karen and Hayley at inverclyde royal hospital .
