"Giving mum the best possible care"

About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 1 (Emergency Medical) Victoria Hospital / Stroke

(as a relative),

Outstanding care and support received day and night for our Mum.

We were well informed and made welcome to be with her all the time. Day and night.

After a few nights in AU1 we moved to ward 41. I note many staff have worked here for a long time  too many names to mention fairly.

Each and every staff member were helpful. Supportive and giving mum the best possible care.

Once again we were welcome to stay day and night.

Dear columbasc85

My name is Siobhan McIlroy and I am the Head of Patient Experience in NHS Fife. I am sorry for the delay in you receiving a response.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt feedback. I am incredibly glad to hear that you and your mum received outstanding care and support during your time with us. It’s wonderful to know that you felt welcomed and informed throughout your stay, and that our staff made such a positive impact on your experience.

NHS Fife takes great pride in our dedicated teams, and it’s touching to hear that their long-standing commitment to patient care was evident during your mum’s time with us. Your appreciation for their hard work truly means a lot.

Thank you for sharing your experience, best wishes, Siobhan.
