I saw my named Midwife throughout pregnancy and had excellent antenatal care. She was then with me throughout my whole labour and birth.
Although things didn't go completely according to plan I had an amazing, positive experience and we are so thankful to all the Midwives and doctors that looked after me and my wee boy, they really went above and beyond! They provided me with great support and advice, and were so good at respecting my wishes for my birth.
The care assistants were also fantastic postnatally, they were really kind and patient especially with breastfeeding help.
A brilliant Maternity team, without whom we could have had a very different experience.
