Unfortunately at my 12 week scan I was informed I lost my baby. I needed to go for a Surgical Management of Miscarriage (D&C). I just wanted to come in here to say that during a heartbreaking and traumatic couple of days, the nurses and doctor made a terrible time a little easier. The care and support I received from the nurses was of genuine empathy, patience and kindness. The operation itself was sad and not pleasant, but again with the support of the amazing nurses and doctor, I made it through a lot easier than I expected. I just wanted to thank the amazing staff at Early Pregnancy Unit in Wishaw General. Unfortunately I wasn’t in a state of mind to retain the names of the nurses who supported me and one in particular that I couldn’t have done this without.
