"RAH A&E"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I work in the hospital and I become unwell during my shift, was sent to A&E at the RAH. I was looked after well by all staff but Tom a FY2 who was looking after me is a brilliant doctor.

I felt that he listened to me, was genuinely concerned about what my worries were, he was so considerate and kind. I never got to see him before I went home so just hope he gets to see this as he made a scary time easier. Tom had also looked at my notes from my previous admission in September and explained things from that time that I had questions about.

Dear teeny89,

Thank you for taking time to share your positive experience of care. Becoming unwell whilst at work must have been a distressing experience and it's wonderful to hear you felt so well looked after by your colleagues in A and E, and in particular Tom. We will share your feedback with them, which I know they'll appreciate, especially at this time of year.

I hope your recovery is going well.

Best wishes,

Lisa, Patient Experience Public Involvement Team.
