"The level of care and support was outstanding"

While taking my Mum to our GP,  I myself took unwell with chest pain. Our Doctor immediately called A&E at Hairmyres and arranged for me to go their immediately. The staff at A&E were amazing, all of them so nice and so caring. I was taken very quickly and given various tests and blood tests. 

The Doctor who saw me at Hairmyres was Dr Kerr.  She was so kind and so thorough. After discharging me from the hospital that day she then organised for me to be sent for a further ECG test. Following that test, Dr Kerr wrote me a lovely letter to assure me that the test had come back as satisfactory.  The words she wrote were so kind, wishing me well and hoping that I was ok.  

The level of care and support I was given that day (I actually had to take my Mum with me, as she has dementia and could not be left alone in the house), was outstanding. I would like to thank Dr Kerr and all the staff at Hairmyres who helped  and looked after me ( and my Mum ) that day.

I hope this can be sent on to Dr Kerr.
