"The standard of care was exceptionally high"

About: South West Acute Hospital / Surgery Service South West Acute Hospital / Ward 9

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 9 in SWAH as an elective admission for appendectomy. From the moment myself and my mother arrived to the ward, we were greeted by such friendly and welcoming staff who couldn’t do enough for us.

I had my procedure done successfully, without any hassle or delay from the amazing surgical team. From the staff on the ward, theatres and theatre recovery I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Each staff member showed amazing compassion and empathy.

A special word of thanks to nurse Stacey and HCA Ruth who looked after me so well during my stay. The standard of care was exceptionally high, thank you all so much.
