"Given exercises and referrals to help with walking"

About: North Hampshire Community Therapy Team

(as the patient),

I have ms but feeling better and stronger and wanted help with walking

I lost three stone in weight feeling stronger than in last 15 years so wanted physio to strengthen my walking

Theo came out gave me exercises when he came back with a student he said I need a raise for my shoe and resting splint

I got a referral to orthotics who supplied both heel raise and resting foot splint

Stuart followed up suggested a four wheel walker which I've had twice over the years and had nasty falls with so I declined it.

We spoke about the need for a different walker as Zimmer frame are not designed for outside

Happy to be discharged

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. It sounds like you have made progress with the exercises and the orthotics which is positive. I will make sure that the therapists hear your comments,

Best wishes,

Emma
