About: Stockport NHS Foundation Trust / Parenting Team

(as a service user),

I was invited to participate in the invest in play parent to help me manage my oldest child’s behaviour. The course was easy to follow, evidence based and has had a really positive impact on my own behaviour which in turn has led to a more peaceful home. The course was really inclusive and the peer support between other parents has been invaluable.

Also receiving insight from other parents is indeed invaluable and will help build your own confidence going forward. Support for parents is important and it is good to see the positive impact these sessions have had for you.
