"So caring and helpful"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was admitted to hospital, which is becoming a regular thing due to needing an operation. He becomes very unwell and usually ends up admitted to children’s ward for couple of days.

It’s always reassuring when you see the same faces from previous stays as they understand and know the story of what has been going on.

This time we had Jasmine on both the days we were in. She is lovely, so caring and helpful, also very understanding and listens to you. She is never rude or in a rush, everything is no problem for Jasmine, if only all nurses had her nature and way.

Dr Oki, not sure how you spell his name, what a lovely Dr he does a fabulous job in there and knows his stuff.

Hi @Bunny90

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch. I am sorry to hear that your son is needing an operation but it is reassuring to know that the staff are making his hospital stays a little less worrisome. I will be sure to share your kind words with Jasmine, Dr Oki and the wider time. We all appreciate how stressful it can be when our little ones need to be admitted so I am glad that as a parent you feel the reassurance you need is always available. Once again, thank you for reaching out.

Best wishes
