About: Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (Edinburgh)

(as a service user),

My child attends an AHP service as an outpatient.

The receptionist upstairs on level 1 has always greeted us with a warm friendly smile, puts us at ease and makes us feel so welcome.

It’s the small things that make a huge difference. Attending hospital appointments can be fraught, battling traffic to arrive on time and anxious about the appointment.

Waiting areas are the beginning of a journey for parent and child and being put at ease is just amazing.
