"Nothing has ever been too much trouble"

About: Countywide Community Care Service Delivery Unit / Wyre Forest Prescription Service - Bladder and Bowel Health

(as a service user),

I was diagnosed with bladder retention and advised I would have to self catheterize for the rest of my life. I was in my late 40s.

Right from my first appointment with the continence team, they showed me a variety of different catheters and asked me to go away try them out to see which ones suited me best.

Over the last 5 years the team have taken all the stress out of having to order catheters on repeat prescription. Within a couple of days I have received an email saying they are on their way to me. If I have had a query, they have looked into it for me, nothing has ever been too much trouble. I feel very lucky.
