"After each visit, I came out feeling cheered up and happy"

I have had a positive and satisfying experience with all of the health care people I have been to see concerning anything that has been troubling me.

Recently it has been my knee, painful with arthritis. The doctor was very thorough and got me in to see a physiotherapist quickly, who arranged for me to have x-rays, done very quickly, on seeing my knee problem.

Lucinda was the Occupational Therapist she sent me to, very quickly, who was very kind and helpful, explaining everything about my condition and fitted me with a brace.

She arranged a follow up appointment after a month to see how I was getting on with it.

All the questions and concerns I asked of all these people were answered and explained in a good way.

Lucinda wrote a letter to my GP explaining everything within a day of my visit and suggested that I was referred for an orthopaedic opinion.

She didn't sign me off and wants to see me in the coming months to see how I am getting on.

I feel I am being looked after brilliantly and treated as a person and not just a case number.

They have all been very attentive and understanding and caring.

My mental health and wellbeing was beginning to suffer because of the pain and discomfort when walking. After each visit with Lucinda, I came out feeling cheered up and happy. I am looking forward to my next visit.
