"My sister is delighted with what she can do now"

About: Motherwell Locality Support Service / Integrated Rehabilitation Team

(as a relative),

Lots of support and encouragement from OTs. They were available for any questions we needed to ask and visited when they were needed.

They gave good advice, and demonstrated how to help my sister move safely and progress in her movement and transfers. Their help was invaluable.

My sister is delighted with what she can do now - and during all the OT work. She is still improving and is now regaining her ability to walk. I can't praise the OTs highly enough.

Thank you.

I am the Operational Lead Manager for an integrated rehabilitation team. Our team has occupational therapy staff from both North Lanarkshire Council and NHS Lanarkshire. We also have NHS Lanarkshire physiotherapy and support staff from both organisations.

It's encouraging to know that our advice and guidance has helped both you and your sister achieve important personal outcomes. It's important to us that we help families and not just individuals.
