"At no time was I ever in pain or felt I was a burden on the staff"

About: Russells Hall Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Arrived at Hospital in a bad way. I will tell you the gods honest truth about my experience. Admitted to ward B5 at around one early morning in December, doubled up in excruciating pain. A nurse (Nadean) took me into her care and supported and comforted me until the urology Doctor arrived (less than an hour wait). The Doctor came and carried out a procedure that took about 45mins. Within 30 minutes after the procedure I felt some much better.

Nadean although very busy stayed with me and insured I was comfortable, God Bless her, she was fantastic and deserves to be recognised for her commitment.

I was then taken to ward C6 for recovery, cannot thank all staff on C6 enough. There attention and professionalism to me was more than I could have ever have hoped for, again God Bless them all. Patients must treat all staff with respect, there devotion to there chosen profession is unquestionable.

I had several meals during my stay in there care. The food was incredibly good. So I want to take this opportunity to thank all involved in my recovery and possibly saving my life.

I Was discharged a couple days later in the afternoon, now recovering at home and very grateful for the professionalism I received.

Foot note, although some of the procedures where uncomfortable at no time was I ever in pain or felt I was a burden on the staff.

10/10 no complaints.
