In mid-November I attended Daisy Hill hospital in Newry for Gallbladder removal. My experience from I arrived in the ward at 7.30am until I left to go home that evening was excellent.
Every member of staff I encountered that day were just brilliant. Medical staff took time to introduce themselves and explain the procedure in lay persons terms. Staff were attentive, caring and professional.
I found the elective surgery facility at Daisy Hill to be very efficient, no long wait to be taken to Theatre, ample time in recovery and then back to the Ward. My surgery was key hole with no complications and I was able to go home that evening.
