"Finding me"

About: Adult Mental Health Community / IPS Future's Positive - County

(as a service user),

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the IPS service and the Mansfield LMHT for the support they have provided me over the year, especially Katie, my Psychologist.

I didn’t get the opportunity to say this in person but would like to share this with Katie and her manager if possible.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for all the support and care you've provided me during our time working together. Your professionalism, combined with the personal touch you bring to your work, has made a significant difference in my life. You’ve helped me look at things from a new perspective, and I can already feel the positive impact of the therapy you’ve guided me through.

The tasks you set for me were incredibly helpful, and I truly believe they’ve made a big difference in my journey. I feel much more equipped to continue applying the skills you’ve taught me in my everyday life, and I’m genuinely grateful for that.

However, the moment that truly touched me the most was when you fought so hard for me to continue receiving the mental health support I needed. Knowing that you genuinely cared about my well-being, and that you’re one of the few people who fought for me, really showed me how much you invest in your work. It’s clear this is not just a job for you—it’s something you care deeply about. Your dedication has meant so much to me, and I will never forget it.

You are an incredible psychologist, and I felt naturally able to open up to you in a way I never have before. I truly appreciate all the work you've done with me.

I also want to thank you for handing over my support to Lisa. I’ve just restarted therapy with Lisa, and though it’s early days, she seems just as kind and wonderful as you are.

Thank you again for everything you’ve done to help me. I will always be grateful for your support and care.
