"Exceptional care"

About: Borders General Hospital / Paediatrics (Ward 15) Borders General Hospital / Theatres Borders General Practices

(as a service user),

My son became unwell with sickness and abdo pain. I took him to the ANP at the health centre and thanks to her thorough and quick assessment he was sent to A&E and then on to children’s ward to be reviewed by surgeons.

The outcome was a ruptured appendix whereby he received surgery that evening.

The ongoing care he has received has been exceptional. He left the hospital today with a beaming smile.
