Just had a message to remind me of having a flu jab again. I had the jab a couple of weeks ago. Update your records. Twice in the last few weeks I have been into the surgery to make an appointment to see or speak to a doctor and have been told that their are no appointments for the next month. I called in at the surgery last week to make an appointment to see or speak to a doctor as I have suddenly become allergic to dairy which if I have even the smallest amount makes me violently ill. I was told again that their are no appointments for at least a month so call in then or go to the walk in centre. I was also told to ring every morning at 8oc or wait outside the surgery at 8oc in the morning to see if I can get an appointment. I asked if I would then get an appointment and was told ' only if their are any left ' . I really don't know what to do anymore. I'm 77 years old . The surgery is paid for me as their patient and to treat me so this is under false pretences. The Dr I Q app hasn't worked for several weeks so I have to drive to the surgery to order my repeat prescription as I cannot order over the phone either. The favourite phrase that your receptionists use when asked for an appointment is ' Go to the walk in centre ' . Have you actually got any doctors in the surgery.
"The worst practice I have ever been to in my life"
