I got a cancellation for my gallbladder removal, due to gallstones and frequent flares ups I needed it removed. From start to finish the staff on the elective ward of floor 3 in Daisy hill hospital were amazing, especially Denise. They made me comfortable especially seeing I was in a lot of pain. Nothing was too much trouble for them at all. Thankfully it was only a day procedure and I’m home now, but I would have felt comfortable if I needed to stay there a few days.
Pain management was the biggest thing for me and as I said above the staff were amazing in helping me with this.
I went in feeling very anxious, and left knowing I was in good hands from start to finish the whole time
