(as a relative),

I think the service is good, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. They’re really good at explaining what is happening, but I have to say the wait times are just unbearable.

Thank you for sharing your experience of UHM, Emergency Department.

I am sorry to hear of the long wait that you and your dad experienced when attending ED at University Hospital Monklands. Unfortunately, our services are under extreme pressures at the moment and our staff are working as quickly and safely as possible to see and treat patients. This will of course not help at an already worrying time. I am pleased to hear that once you were taken, you found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and kind.

I hope your dad is recovering well.
