"Kind, friendly and efficient"

I arrived early as I came by bus, and was taken immediately. Staff were kind, friendly and efficient at all times and everything was explained.

I requested spinal anaesthetic rather than general and the anaesthetist readily agreed, explaining exactly what would happen and pros & cons.

After the procedure when I was told the catheter would remain in situ for a week but on request the consultant agreed to reduce to 5 days.

All in all a great experience.
