My left hip was very weak and Paul came to visit to help with strengthening my hip.
He set exercises that were easy to follow and easy to do, some in the chair some standing.
The exercises became easier over the weeks and I soon found my strength returning. Which resulted in getting out of bed in the morning making a cup of tea on my own. Easier getting in and out of the shower. My balance has improved, going up and down the stairs, taking less painkillers, my confidence has improved and everyone is amazed that I am keeping cheerful. Which I put down to doing more and improving due to the excellent exercises and programme Paul set. Plus my determination is a major factor in recovery. I even felt confident enough to go to the hairdresser.
I feel the end is insight and my next goal is to keep progressing and use a walking stick.
Paul was very patient, encouraging and inspiring.
