"Have made me feel better on every visit"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

I had been diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome many years ago via a blood test which showed I have an auto immune problem. Because I have multiple other health issues as well, I see quite a few consultants and nurses so often I get mixed feedback on what is best for me, but this last visit to a Rheumatologist made me feel I was not wasting anyone's time. (I do feel I am a burden). She understood exactly my feelings and was very sympathetic toward me. I had some misunderstanding over a heart issue which she explained fully. All who I have dealt with at Rheumatology have made me feel better on each visit.  No complaints, only praise for what they do.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are truly glad to hear that your visit to the rheumatology team made you feel supported and understood

Your feedback is greatly appreciated. We understand that managing multiple health issues can be overwhelming so we extremely pleased that our team has been able to help make your visits positive and reassuring. I will be sure to pass this lovely feedback onto our Rheumatology team.
