"Fantastic care"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

I was advised by NHS24 to attend A&E with my  young daughter who had burnt her hand on a radiator.

We were taken into Triage within 15 mins of arriving despite the waiting room having around 10 people waiting. The charge nurse, who I think was called Laura, was very kind friendly and efficient.

We were then taken straight to the minors area and seen promptly by Sarah, the ANP on shift, who was amazing, very kind and professional. She reassured me and treated my daughter quickly whilst she was sound asleep in a baby carrier.

Our whole visit took only 1.5 hours, despite the Unit being busy. I am very grateful for the care and professionalism from all the staff we came into contact with. Very positive experience of A&E.

Hello Cavi2015

Thank you for taking the time to give us such lovely feedback. I am pleased that your visit to the Emergency department was a positive experience in what I am sure would have been a very worrying time for you.

I will be sure to pass on your kind words to both Laura, Sarah and the rest of the team.

I hope your daughter is recovering well.

Many thanks again
