"Admission to ward 16"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery

(as a relative),

My sister in law was admitted to ward 16, she had a fall at home but also had stage 4 lung cancer. The care she received on the ward was exemplary.  All of the staff treated her with great care and compassion and restored our faith in the nhs.

Dear A Collins

Thank you for sharing your experience in UHW, Ward 16.

I'm so sorry to hear of your sister in law's fall. It must have been a very traumatic time, made worse by her illness. I am delighted to hear she was treated with care and compassion during her stay, and I look forward to passing on your lovely comments to the staff of ward 16, they will get a real boost from hearing your feedback.

Please pass my best wishes to your sister in law, and I hope she is recovering well from her fall.

Kind Regards

Eileen
