"A visit to the physiotherapist at Dunkeld surgery"

About: Physiotherapy Services / First Contact Physiotherapy (FCP)

(as the patient),

It was actually on a Tuesday that the appointment took place.  I attended the same place, with the same physiotherapist, in October last year when she advised seeing my GP.  I did this, was diagnosed with PMR and have been taking steroids ever since.  Now on a very low dose, I find myself with sore muscles again but a blood test has revealed no flare up.  Kirstie has given me a set of exercises and I believe that, if I can get myself into a routine of doing them regularly, they will really help.  I am very impressed with both visits

Hi,

Thanks so much for taking the time to get in touch and give us some feedback about our First Contact physio service. I am so pleased that you have had a good experience on the two occasions that you have had an appointment. I will pass on this positive feedback to Kirsty and will also share with the other physios working in the team. It is always nice to hear that our appointments make a difference to people's lives and their health so thanks again for getting in touch. I hope you manage to get yourself in a good routine and that the exercises help in the long term.

Best wishes, Ailsa Brown
