About: Intrahealth Platt Bridge

Telephone appointment- I was requested to make the appointment to receive information; at the start of the call the GP asked me what she could do? Preparing for appointments of the day booked the GP should prepare better for that patient; they are paid a lot of money and yet research of patient history and recent ailments or tests. Otherwise they are flying without backing up their decisions when it could lead to serious harm; 3 minute calls are a joke when it’s the patient explaining to the GP what they are missing (medically) when it is repeatedly reported and recorded on their system. Poor Performance and Lacking of Care and Empathy

Dear Angela,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We generally ask all reception staff to add comments to the appointment booking, advising the GP why the appointment has been made. I am sorry that this did not occur on this occasion and will bring this to the attention of the receptionist at our next meeting.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Ms G S Whitelock
