"Excellent care at the Queen Elizabeth hospital in Glasgow"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

A wonderful doctor called Lottie saw to my baby girl in the children's A and E department of the QEUH, Glasgow.  It was 4am at this point and a very busy night and yet she was still patient, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my 11 month old was given the proper care, as well as reassuring me, an anxious first time mum.  This was Saturday 23rd Nov night into Sunday 24th Nov morning.  All the nurses and the on call pediatrician were all wonderful, but Lottie really showed outstanding care and deserves to be recognised. Thank you for your service.

Dear MotherofTwins

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It’s heart warming to hear about the care and support you received during what must have been a very stressful time for you and your baby.

We’re delighted that Dr Lottie and the team at the Royal Hospital for Children were able to provide such outstanding care. It’s especially touching to know that Dr Lottie went above and beyond to ensure your baby girl was treated with patience and compassion, while also offering you the reassurance and understanding you needed as a first time mum.

Your kind words will mean so much to Dr Lottie and the entire team. We will make sure they are shared with her, as well as with the nurses and the on-call paediatrician who contributed to your care. Feedback like yours is incredibly encouraging and serves as a wonderful reminder of the positive impact our staff have on patients and their families.

We hope your little one is feeling much better now, and we wish you both all the best.

Thank you once again for taking the time to recognise the team’s efforts.

Kind regards

Kevin
