After 2 short tests waited 2 hours to see Dr.
Her hands were cold and she was rough. I had told her beforehand that my eye lids were hypersensitive to touch: she managed to only get one pressure reading. The nurse did it with no trouble.
More wait 1.5 hours to get drugs from pharmacy. They didn't have 0.5 ml vials for prednisolone drops. I find the 10ml bottles difficult and unsafe to use. I have to self medicate. Luckily my GP sent a script to my local pharmacy: I am a medic and the GP knows me.
Should have a drinks machine. A board with waiting times. All Drs should have warm hands. The Prof and the Dr stood in the corner and chatted about treatment excluding me. Shared care?
[Plus I had 1.5 hour wait for patient transport and had to be ready 2 hours before transport from home.] I also had a Sept appt. It was cancelled: no reason given and no date for a future one. I got the above appt with the help of PALS. I have other significant problems. Dr could not answer my question: were the oral drugs I was taking have affected my eye dryness? She didn't ask what they all were even or the dosage. I have a much higher dose of Morphine than perhaps the norm.
"Awful"
