"All staff are angels in human form"

About: Kilbryde Hospice / Inpatient Care

(as a service user),

My uncle is a patient in the Kilbryde Hospice at this time.

Since he was admitted the staff have been nothing short of wonderful. Nothing is a bother, if he didnt want whatever was offered on menu, the chef will make him what he feels like eating at that time.

Each member of staff are attentive, and caring towards both their patient and to us as a family, which makes things a bit easier to cope with.

My uncle wants for nothing in this wonderful facility  , and my aunt has been treated to a few complimentry theraphies to help her deal with whats going on in their lives just now. And they have helped enormously.

What more can i say about this fantastic place.

Except that each and every member of staff from, domestics , admin, nurses, doctors and everyone in between are Angels in human form.

Dear SplashG,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a heartfelt Care Opinion post about Kilbryde Hospice which is currently where your uncle is receiving care in our In-Patient Unit.

As one of the deputy In-Patient Unit Managers, it is most reassuring to know that you feel the staff are attentive and caring towards your uncle and the family. You mention about how the chefs make him whatever he feels like eating at that time - our Catering Department aims to deliver high quality meals and tailored menus to suit individual tastes. You also mentioned that your aunt is receiving Complimentary Therapy and how it has helped enormously - our Complimentary Therapy team will be delighted to receive this feedback.

As a team as a whole, we all strive to deliver patient-centred care. It is a privilege to care and support your loved ones at this difficult time in which you are all trying to navigate through.

Please reach out to the team if you need anything else and again sincerest thanks for your kind words.

Anne.
