It’s true the Pharmacy Team are usually very helpful: I rang recently with queries about my meds only to find that I was due a blood test very soon to monitor the drug change. News to me as the GP hadn’t mentioned it - I tend to remember things like that. Fortunately the PT were able to book me in for it on the day requested by the GP. Had I not rung them I would never have known about it.
Havens Health could save themselves a lot of time by prompt efficient attention to detail. Over time the no of calls, appointments etc would fall. It took me six years and some fuss-making on my part to finally get referred to a hospital clinic who treated a common hard-to-treat condition which has a serious negative impact on sufferers’ lives. Now happily it is under control, but requires quarterly blood tests. Haven’s Health won’t provide these without another song and dance from me, and ignore specialists’ letters who then send reminders. This wastes HH time as well as the hospital’s, and mine. Why not provide a more streamlined, attentive, yes professional, service? For their own sake.
