"Friendly, helpful and reassuring"

About: Victoria Hospital / Day Intervention Unit Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

I recently had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy carried out at Day Intervention unit at Victoria hospital Kirkcaldy.

Every staff member, receptionist, nurses, doctor was friendly, helpful and reassuring. I was very anxious when I went in, but they all helped me stay a bit calmer.

I’m afraid I can’t remember all their names, but 2 of the nurses were Kim and Mary. The whole team is a credit to the NHS

I am doing good thank you. So many people are too quick to criticise the NHS but don’t acknowledge good service. I couldn’t have been looked after any better. The whole team are a credit to the NHS
