"Brilliant care"

I wanted to come on here as the entire team deserve a whole load of praise for their brilliant care. I felt really well looked after at Ward 62, was continuously checked on before surgery, and after. The nurses were gentle and non-judgemental, which was all I could ask for. 

I was worried about having my catheter and cannula taken out while I was awake, but the care team did this with such precision that I was in no pain. To give you some context, I previously fainted when I tried to give blood, so am quite a squeamish person. They were brilliant at distracting me and keeping my spirits high. 

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team here to any woman who needs gynae treatment. I also really want to thank the surgery team who performed my myomectomy, I have been able to (slowly) walk away the following day in minimal pain, which is quite remarkable. Compared to the pains of the fibroid I had, the shoulder gas pains are really nothing. If any women are reading this and want to prepare, I would buy an electric heat pad for the shoulder pains as this has helped mine go away.
