"Grateful for her support"

About: Telford STaRS

(as a service user),

I am involved with stars at Telford and my recovery worker Pam comes to see me as I was homeless at the start of my journey and she made me feel like I could reach my goals if I put the work in.

She gave me motivation to work hard and get to where I need/want to be. She has supported me as my father is dying but she gives me the strength to keep going and not wallow and use it  as an excuse to keep using drugs.

After our sessions I feel strong and ready to get myself better and cope with each day...when I start to lose motivation I can call Pam or she arranges to see me and it boosts me up again and I'm ready to keep going. She is very straight forward and knows when I'm not doing what I should be but she helps me to realise when I'm in denial. She makes me want to reach my goals.

I look forward to our sessions but more than that I need the help and motivation that pam gives me. She talks to me in a way that gives me the strength to get on with my recovery.

I am so grateful to have Pam and I thank stars for providing such a great service. I really grateful to have Pam as my support, thank you.
