"Very disappointed "

About: Mayfield Surgery

As a patient with emphysema and asthma I was diagnosed with a lung infection. Having finished my antibiotics and still having lung pain, struggling with breathing and coughing I made an appointment. I was told you can’t have any more antibiotics. You’ve had two lots and the last course will still be working. I thought fair enough so said “If my condition worsens over the next few days I’ll get back in touch” to be told “no don’t”.

I am still no better and it worries me that if it does get any worse I have no back up. Maybe to have been offered a rescue pack of steroids and antibiotics would have been a good solution.
