I am really grateful to all the staff I have encountered in Liverpool Women's Hospital. Each one of them from my pregnancy, delivery and gynaecological experience embodied compassion. They really are people for women.
Today I had to bring my 10-month-old to the gynaecology clinic by myself because I failed to make childcare arrangements. The staff who cared for me understood my situation so they made adjustments and offered to lend support.
Sometimes what a haggard first-time mother only needs is kindness. Today I felt like I had a help of a village. Thank you Wahiba, Allison, Lindsay and the lovely consultant i forgot to ask their name.
