I had elective surgery under the care of Mr Glackin yesterday and I just wanted to thank both himself and his NCHD for their care and patience taking time to listen to my concerns and hear me. All the staff of Ward 43 from the cleaner, the catering staff to the student nurses and fantastic qualified nurses were kind and caring and made a stressful experience for myself and the other ladies less so. The consultant Anaesthetist was exemplary and put me at ease with her manner and story telling, which although was a personal story to her she was using it as a training aid for her staff on the day subliminally. Smart lady.
