"Lack of complete privacy"

I recently went for a Vaccination for my Double Flu and Covid Jabs at Wallacetown Health Centre Dundee. Receptionist excellent. Service by staff Excellent. No issues went like clockwork.

My main issue is that I had to go at the same time with a complete stranger. There was absolutely no privacy whatsoever especially when asked about your medication. People will be reluctant to speak about it especially if it's medication which is extremely personal such as for Sexual dysfunction or Psychotic Mental Health issues or other personal medical conditions. They may be reluctant to ask or answer other medical questions.

I think the people that thought up this system lack common sense. It's equivalent to someone getting a Doctor's appointment and having a complete stranger going in for an appointment also in the same room!.

There seems to be plenty of room for using single rooms as I could see. Please do something about this issue.

thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback.

As you know, we recently moved sites and this is the first mass campaign to be run from the new building. Although I am pleased to say that lots has gone well, we are aware that there is need for improvement especially within the rooms whilst still ensuring we can offer appointments to over 800 people per day in Wallacetown during this period of highest activity.

As a first step, we are reducing the number of people in each room as much as possible, and will install a screen between tables, much as the set up in Zara previously. There is also a sign at reception to offer a private room should a citizen wish for additional privacy.

Once this campaign ends, we will assess how best to move forward for future mass campaigns while ensuring we can continue to offer a large number of vaccination appointments in a timely manner.

I hope that has provided some reassurance, and I will ensure to pass on your very kind staff comments to the team.
