I attended a 3 day course at the integrated center for health.
I suffer from chronic pain, fatigue, amongst other things.
From the moment I entered the building the receptionist was welcoming and friendly, I was directed to where to sit, which was a naturally lit area with a nice garden view.
When we were guided into the room where we would be having our course, The nurse introduced herself, explained the basic safety brief and told us all to get comfy.
The sessions were run by Catriona, Lynsey and Steven.
Each one them made me feel welcome, relaxed, and they encouraged us all to do what made us comfortable, we could stand up, wriggle in chairs and at no point did I feel judged or uneasy in their presence.
The understanding and empathy the staff have was wonderful and I can honestly say I left the course with new knowledge and a better sense of coping strategies and well being.
