About: Riverbank Medical Centre

My GP

1. recommended me to have a X-ray on my hands an assisted with a contact number: this was invaluable as the two relevant hospital depts are under huge pressures sometimes leading to a lack of communication. Happily, I secured an appointment. The Advanced Radiologist Practitioner identified severe thumb osteoarthritis.

2. After a detailed, professional consultation at Bognor Regis Hospital, I was invited to consider various options in the short and long terms.

2. My GP wrote to me and asked me to advise her if I wished to have a steroid injecton or consider surgery. Whilst I will end up having both, in the immediate future I will delay any procedure for as lo g as possible with the help of heat treatment etc i.e. my GP and the radiologist have given me considered options to address this complex challenge and I am most grateful.

Thank you so much for leaving a review about your recent treatment. It is reassuring to hear that all has gone smoothly and you have received a range of treatment options that will hopefully help the problem with your hands.
