I have been getting my heart looked after at Forth Valley Cardiology as reading my other stories will confirm, now I’m getting a new knee and it’s time to start telling you about a new journey through this amazing hospital. I have arthritis in my right knee and it has been bothering me right through my cardiac care over the last few years. Now my heart seems to be very stable I am finally able to get my knee replacement done. Mr Murray my surgeon is not the only one who deserves credit I’m told he has the easy bit it’s just fancy DIY after all same tools power saw drills and hammers and some sticky stuff !!how hard is that?
I’m hoping to be able to watch the whole procedure on a monitor just to check it’s done the same as the U Tube version.
This is about the real heroes of special care the amazing staff in the near background who make sure all the dots join up and that one is ready and on time and happy about the DIY to come
My pre op team on this visit was amazing and just like the Cardio team upstairs filled me with total confidence about my care. Nicole Holly and Lianne thank you for everything. I’m sorry I didn’t thank you enough on the day but I hope you got that I appreciated everything you do.
The NHS comes in for criticism too often I’m sure from people sitting drinking coffee and in perfect health.
The world without those who give so much for so little would be be a terrible place.
I can’t praise the staff I have met and can’t imagine what my life would be like without them
Thank you so much see you next week for the big repair job🪓🪚🧰
