"The staff made me feel safe and treated me with compassion"

About: Leverndale Hospital / Mental Health

(as a service user),

After a very difficult time at home and being supported by the crisis team I could no longer keep myself safe at home. My admission to 4a went smoothly and at a very unsettling time the staff made me feel safe and treated me with compassion. Could not fault the staff or care I received. I was well supported throughout my admission and at times when struggling the staff took time to speak to me and provide comfort while helping me to develop coping strategies. I couldn’t thank the nurses enough for all that they did for me, Michelle in particular.
