About: Musgrave Park Hospital / Day Procedure Unit - Withers 5A Musgrave Park Hospital / Ward 4A

(as a service user),

Just writing of my experience while getting hip arthroscopy in Withers. From start to finish it was excellent. Alison the nurse on 5A was fantastic, as was Dr Caroline, the anaesthetist who so put me at ease.

My aftercare in 4A was excellent also. The night staff looked after me so well especially Cara and student nurse Abbie who will make an amazing nurse.

Last thanks goes to the day staff especially Claire and Neil the auxiliary nurse. 

Everyone was very kind, attentive, knowledgeable and appreciated by me in a stressful time. All a credit to the NHS

We expect our teams to treat patients with care and compassion, dignity and respect, and the professionalism, care, and treatment you received from the staff at Musgrave Park Hospital ward 4a and 5a is of the high standard we wish all our teams to provide. It is genuinely pleasing to hear that you had such a positive experience at Musgrave Park Hospital.

The team's you have highlighted (including the entire MDT, Nurses, Physiotherapists and HCA's) provide high quality services in preparation for your surgical care and on-going patient journey. I am genuinely pleased that you experienced high quality professional care from all staff involved. This is exactly what the staff come to work (every day) to provide. It is especially pleasing that you mention Abbie the student nurse in 4a- it is important and uplifting to have this lovely feedback early in her career. Please do not underestimate the morale boost that positive feedback such as this provides for the team.
