I was aghast to see a crocodile of your patients been marched two-by-two along the main road in Trent Vale today. I know they were your patients-as did everybody else-because they were accompanied by two uniformed mental health nurses, who brought up the rear. The uniforms are distinctive:there can be no mistaking the institution from which these people came. Surely this is a massive breach of confidentiality as we understand it today? It appeared that these folk were so ill they could not venture out without uniformed attendants. Would not a little anonymity be more humane? It is 2013.
